Bosaso/Galkayo, Somalia – December 2024 – The week-long “Empowering Every Child” campaign made significant strides in promoting inclusive education for children with disabilities across Puntland. Running from November 30 to December 8, the initiative combined radio outreach, school engagements, and public installations to drive awareness.
Key Achievements:
✔ Radio broadcasts reached 20,000+ listeners in Bosaso & Goldogob
✔ 125+ educational materials distributed across NORAD-supported schools
✔ Eye-catching billboards installed in Galkayo & Bosaso for 2-month visibility
✔ Interactive sessions held in 4 Bosaso schools & key communities

The Way Forward:
Organizers recommend expanded IEC material production and extended campaign durations to deepen impact.
