Bosaso\/Galkayo, Somalia \u2013 December 2024 \u2013 The week-long “Empowering Every Child”<\/em> campaign made significant strides in promoting inclusive education for children with disabilities across Puntland. Running from November 30 to December 8, the initiative combined radio outreach, school engagements, and public installations to drive awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2714 125+ educational materials<\/strong> distributed across NORAD-supported schools
\u2714 Eye-catching billboards<\/strong> installed in Galkayo & Bosaso for 2-month visibility
\u2714 Interactive sessions<\/strong> held in 4 Bosaso schools & key communities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Organizers recommend expanded IEC material production and extended campaign durations to deepen impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This campaign proved that sustained awareness efforts can shift perspectives on disability inclusion,”<\/em> said Mohamed A. Ali, PDON\u2019s Program Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
